I got my start in concrete back in 2015. My first three years were with a friend's family company, pouring residential work, driveways, patios, and the flatwork that makes a house feel finished.
After that I joined the Cement Masons Union, Local 633, and spent close to eight years chasing machines. Curb machine, sidewalk machine, paver machine, and bridge deck roller. In between all of it was endless handwork: driveways, ADA pedestrian ramps, colored and stamped concrete, you name it. For my last three years there I ran the crew as head finisher, managing three finishers and three laborers.
On April 21st, 2026, I started RockHard Custom Concrete. That puts me going on twelve years with my hands in concrete, and now every single pour has my name on it.
